1. Place your mobile away from you when ever you are not using it.....

2. Don't put your Mobile phone in your paints or shirts, use a special Belt Mobile Phone Holder for placing your mobile phone.


3. Switch off your mobile phone whenever you are not using it...



4. When ever making a call don't put your mobile phone near to ear untill other person answers it , because mobile phone generates more radiation whenever it is making call to other.

5. Use Head Phone or Bluetooth Headset or Speaker Mode to answer the phone calls...



6. If you have land line in your home then use it as much as possible for making phone calls instead of Mobile Phone.


7. If you are buying a new mobile phone then select the Phone which is having very low SAR levels. SAR level(Specific Absorption Rate) is the rate at which radiation energy is absorbed. You must buy the Mobile Phone with lowest SAR levels as Possible. Just perform Google search as Your Phone +Model Number + Sar Levels ( Ex: Nokia 3110C SAR level).



8. Don't use the mobile phone if you are in moving train or bus because it has so much radiation effects. Don't use the mobile phone in buildings which are having less coverage area because that can increase the radiation levels.

What is the difference between DVD - R, DVD +R , DVD-RW ,DVD+RW

There are different types of DVD disk formats available in market.

 i. DVD -R

 ii DVD +R

 iii DVD- RW

 iv DVD +RW

 v. DVD ROM




The difference between DVD - R and DVD -RW or DVD +R or DVD - RW is, DVD - R or DVD + R types of DVD disks are only one time recordable and readable for life time. The data in DVD -R or DVD + R can be erased with burning burning tools but cannot recorded or written once again. Where as in the case of DVD - RW and DVD + RW types of DVD disks are can be recorded and erased as many times. DVD ROM disk means Read only Disk.


You may thinking what is the plus type of disks ( DVD +R, DVD +RW) and minus type of disks (DVD-RW , DVD+RW). First of all in the market DVD-R and DVD- RW developed and used by APPLE and Pioneer companies. This DVD-R and DVD- RW not having any industry standard in the market. DVD- R and DVD- RW are cheaper than DVD +R , DVD +RW. The minus disks can be recorded to in  one layer on disk surface.

Then first of all DVD + RW developed before DVD + R and it is introduced in 2002.  where as DVD+RW, DVD+R supported by so many companies such as Philips, HP , Dell and Sony. DVD+RW, DVD+R disks can be recorded to in multiple layers on disk surface. This is the one of the main advantage compared to minus disks which results in additional storage capacity in DVD+RW,DVD+R disks. Plus DVD disks are expensive compared to minus disks.

If your DVD drive is DVD-RW then you can only read and write DVD- R and DVD - RW type of disks only.  DVD +RW and DVD+ R types of DVD disks does not work on your DVD drive. DVD- RW disks are more expensive than DVD - R dvd disks. You need to buy a DVD drive which supports all DVD format disks(DVD - R, DVD +R , DVD-RW ,DVD+RW).

Main Differences between Plus and Minus DVD disks


1.  DVD Plus (+R, +RW) disks developed by DVD + RW Alliance where as DVD Minus disks developed by DVD Forum.

2.  DVD Plus (+R, +RW) disks costlier than DVD Minus disks .

3. DVD Minus Disks can be recorded to only one layer on Disk Surface where DVD Plus disks can be recorded to multiple layers on disk surface.

4. DVD - R disks are most popular for windows and Mac operating system users and they are not compatible with DVD + R disks..

 So whenever buying DVD burner or DVD Player check for Minus and Plus DVD types of compatibility... If you take DVD Multi Recorder it supports only DVD - R , DVD -RW , DVD - RAM where as DVD Super Multi Recorder Supports all types of DVD format disks (DVD - R, DVD +R , DVD-RW ,DVD+RW). So when ever you go to shop for buying DVD burner or DVD player ask for Super multi Recorder..

How to disable windows splash screen easily

Splash Screen is an image that appears when ever any program is loading. In windows operating system you will see windows XP logo when ever it boots up. Do you want to know what are the operations are going on behind the Windows splash screen then just disable windows splash screen.



Steps to disable windows splash screen easily


1. Click on start menu  > Run > then type "msconfig"(without quotes) in the run box and press enter..



2. Now System Configuration utility window opens in that select "BOOT.INI" tab and put check on \NoGUIBOOT after that click on ok.


3. A small pop up box opens and asks you to restart the system now or exit without restart to restart the system later. From now windows splash screen is disabled...

Are you decided to buy a personal computer and confused whether to buy an Assembled PC or Branded PC. Buying a computer is mainly depends upon budget and requirement. In this topic i will explain advantages and disadvantages of Assembled PC and Branded PC. 

All Branded Computers are actually Assembled Computer built in factories in bulky amount . Basically assembled Computer can be built easily by anyone. Both having advantages and disadvantages, most of the people choose Assembled PC instead of Branded PC.


Advantages of Assembled PC


1. There are so many advantages of buying an Assembled PC, main advantage is You can select your own configuration and pay for that only.

2. Assembled PC is cost effective (Cheaper) than Branded PC.

3. Assembled PC allows you to buy a specific PC component(such as Motherboard, Hard Disk etc) from branded companies because a single company cannot provide all components with good quality.

4. Each and every PC component such as Hard Disk, Monitor , CD Drive having their own warranty periods. ( Hard disk --- 3 years or 5 years , Monitor --- 3 years , CD/DVD drive --- 9 months , Keyboard and Mouse ---1 year of warranty).

5. You can buy the PC components which can be upgraded easily in future. You can add extra hardware components in future easily.

6.  No need to pay for unwanted hardware components which comes assembled  with the branded one in case of Assembled PC.

Disadvantages of Assembled PC


1. You need to have good knowledge about hardware components of computer because there are so many low quality hardware components available in market.

2. If you don't know how to assemble the hardware components then it may be a problem in the case of upgrading hardware components.

3. Poor technical support because each and every hardware component is from different manufacture.

4. No operating system installed , You need to buy operating system with hardware components.



Advantages of Branded PC 



1.  You don't need to have any good knowledge for buying a Branded PC because Branded computers are already  assembled ones.

2.  Branded PC comes with all software installations and Operating System.

3. The main advantage of Branded PC is they comes with on site warranty and 24 hours technical support.

4. If you have organization then buying in bulk amount can be cost effective and having  so many free offers.

Disadvantages of Branded PC


1. The main disadvantage of Branded PC is more costlier than Assembled PC( having the difference around 10K between Assembled PC and Branded PC).

2.  Most of the Branded Computers are difficult to upgrade in future.

3.  Branded PC comes with only 1 year of warranty for all the hardware components .

4. Branded PC comes with already installed OS, You cannot choose your own OS to install in your PC in the time of buying.

5. If any hardware component does not works properly then asks you to change total hardware components in Branded PC.

6. The hardware components of Branded PC chosen by manufacture, You need to pay extra money for unwanted components in your Branded PC.


In my view Assembled PC is better for those who are having good knowledge of hardware components.  Branded PC is better for those who don't have any knowledge about computer hardware components and don't want to upgrade the PC in future.

How to reset or remove BIOS password of your system/laptop

I already explained what is the need and how to setup the BIOS password of your system/Laptop. For example if you forgot the BIOS password or if anybody changed then it is a big problem. In this topic i will explain the methods to reset or remove the BIOS Password easily


Methods to reset or remove BIOS password of your system/laptop


1. Hardware Method: It is very easy method to reset or remove the BIOS password of your system/laptop, You just need to remove all the connections like harddisk,monitor and printers from computer and CMOS battery from motherboard in your system for 30 minutes. This allows all the information including password to be deleted from BIOS memory. After 30 minutes put all the connections of computer and also CMOS battery, now your BIOS password is removed..



2. Software Method: Hardware method is very easy if you are using Computer but in the case of Laptop it is some what difficult to do. You can also reset or remove the BIOS password of your system/laptop by using MS- DOS but in this case you need to load the operating system.

Now open command prompt in your system and type the following commands in the prompt....

1. First type the "debug" command in the prompt and press enter.

2. Now type -o 70 2e  and press Enter.

3. Now type -o 71 ff and press Enter.

4. At last type quit in command prompt...

Note: The first character in the above commands is Character o not number 0.You need to restart the system after entering all above commands.

This is the debug tool of the MS-DOS , Here "o" character means outputs to the IO Port and 70, 71 are the are port numbers of CMOS battery.

3. BackDoor Method:Back Door Method is used by professionals of hardware company to remove or reset the password of your computer/laptop. Back Door Password is another password  which is used when ever if you forgot the password. Check your BackDoor Password of your hardware from here..............
