What is DNS?

When ever you type the url of any website in browser and press enter then your web browser asks DNS Server for the IP address of the website. After getting the IP address of the website only it goes to the corresponding web server and returns the webpage that you requested. A DNS (Domain Name System) converts your website name or domain name into IP address. If you have the faster DNS then only you will get Faster Internet Speed.

How to Find out Faster DNS?

There are many Faster DNS servers available today and your Internet Service Provider also provides you the DNS. DNS Server speed depends upon many things such as

i) Location of DNS Server

ii) Translating Speed of domain name to IP address

iii) Port Speed of DNS server.

iv) Connection Type( Such as Broadband, Dial Up).

1) DNS Benchmark

2) Name Bench

How to Find Out Best DNS by using DNS Benchmark

1. Download DNS Benchmark tool from here.

2. After completion of Downloading the DNS Benchmark, Just double click on DNS Benchmark tool.

3. Go to NameServers Tab in DNS Benchmark tool.

4. In the NameServers Tab , Click on "Run Benchmark".

5. After clicking on Run Benchmark and wait for some time to search for the best DNS servers.

6. After completion of Benchmarking click on Response Time tab in NameServers. In the Response Time tab right click and remove slower NameServers.

7. You will get the results of faster dns after that...
