How to transfer files from one laptop to another laptop using LAN cable

If we have two laptops at our home or office and want to transfer the files from one laptop to another laptop. we can use the pen drive for this purpose, but we need to insert the pen drive into first laptop then copy all the data after that we need to insert the pen drive into another laptop then copy the data. It is not at all good idea because it takes so much of time to copy the files from one laptop to another laptop,instead of that we can use the LAN cable to transfer the files from one laptop to another laptop or computer in half time compared to using with the help of pen drive.


Steps to transfer files from one laptop to another laptop using LAN cable


1. Before doing transfer of files from one laptop to another laptop, you must have a RJ 45 cable to perform this operation.

2. Connect two laptops with the help of LAN cable.

3. Now you need to enable file sharing by clicking on Start Menu>Control Panel>Network Sharing Center> Advanced Sharing Setting and find out File sharing and enable it on both laptops.

4) Now you need to bring the two laptops or two computers into the same network that can be done with the help of network connections settings. Go to the Start Menu>Control Panel>Network Connections.

5) Right click on Local Area Connection> Properties> select Internet Protocol TCP/IP > Properties.

6) You need to assign the IP address like this on the first laptop or computer

IP address: 192.168.20.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway:192.168.1.1

then assign this IP address on the second laptop or computer like this


IP address: 192.168.1.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway:192.168.20.1

7) Now you can see the computer or laptop icon in the network connections.

8) You can share any file or folder by right clicking and select share option to transfer the files or folders.

How to transfer money from one bank to another bank in INDIA

I need to transfer money to another bank( BANK OF INDIA) for the publication of my journal, it is easy to transfer money in the same bank in different branch but it is very complex process to transfer money from one bank to another bank. Inter Bank Money Transfer is used for transferring money from one bank to another bank.

                  Inter Bank Money Transfer takes place in two methods..............

1) NEFT ( National Electronic Funds Transfer)

2) RTGS ( Real Time Gross Settlement ).




NEFT: By using NEFT we can transfer the funds from one bank account to other bank accounts across the country. This is simple and reliable service which is maintained by RBI( Reserve Bank of India). There is no minimum money to transfer to another bank account in India.

In order to perform bank transactions using NEFT you require the following things,

1) IFSC ( Indian Financial System Code) of the destination bank branch.

2) Account Number of destination bank branch or beneficiary.

3) Beneficiary Bank Name.

4) Beneficiary Account Type.
 
You can perform this transaction by using online facility or at the bank branch .

NEFT transaction dones  in the settlements or cycles, you can perform the transaction between 8 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and during Saturday upto 1 PM. NEFT transaction's completed in 12 settlements or cycles on week days and during Saturday only 6 settlements. The money will not be directly added once you send the money to beneficiary, it may be completed mostly on the same day or next day.

NEFT charges are different for different banks in India. You can check their websites to know the charges of NEFT.

RTGS: By using RTGS also we can transfer the funds from one bank account to other bank accounts across the country. It is done in real time means once you transfer the funds to beneficiary it will be received that time only. In order to transfer the money by using RTGS facility 
1 Lakh rupees is the minimum, you cannot transfer the money minimum than 1 Lakh.

In order to perform bank transactions using RTGS you require the following things,

1) IFSC ( Indian Financial System Code) of the destination bank branch.

2) Account Number of destination bank branch or beneficiary.

3) Beneficiary Bank Name.

4) Beneficiary Account Type.

RTGS charges are different for different banks in India. You can check their websites to know the charges of RTGS.

All the banks in the India does not provide this service, RTGS and NEFT facility available only on some branches and banks in India, you can check the RBI website to know whether the bank and branch supports NEFT and RTGS facility or not...

How to solve security certificate is not yet valid problem?

When ever security certificate is given to a website then we can say that the website is secured website. If any website does not have any security certificate then the site may have viruses that may harm your system when ever you visit the particular website. Security certificate error is the problem occurs in the Google chrome even though we open any important website. The problem occurs due to two main problems



1. The particular website does not having valid security certificate .

2.The website is not the correct website or fake website, created for hacking all the accounts.

3. If your date and time settings are not updated against to the website then also you can get this error.

The common reason is getting for this problem your computer's or system time and date settings are not updated.


Steps to solve security certificate is not yet valid problem?


1. Double click on the time and date which is located on the task bar at the right side.
2.  In the "Date and Time Properties" select Time Zone tab, and change time zone according to your time and click on ok.

3. Now  in the "Date and Time Properties" select " Internet Time" and put check on "Automatically synchronize with an Internet Time Server". and click on ok to save the settings.


From now your time and date settings are correctly updated, you will not get any security errors because time and date settings are correctly updated. If you are getting security certificate problem even though then you need to add that site in your browser as a trusted website, you can do this in the Google Chrome by following steps,

Type "chrome://settings/" without double quotes in the address bar of the Google Chrome to open settings page in the Google Chrome and then click on " Show Advanced Settings " in that and put check on  "Check for server certificate revocation".

From now you will not get security certificate is not yet valid problem....

Key logger is a infected file which enters into your system whenever you download any suspicious fie such as movie or software or PDF. Key logger tracks all your computer activities such as what your typing on the key board such as all your passwords and bank information are stolen. Some times it is used in office to keep track of employees and in home to track your children activities.

How to detect Keylogger in your computer or laptop


1. You must enable Anti Virus Program as well as Firewall in your computer or laptop.

2. Next Start>Run>type msconfig in the text box.




3. It will open System Configuration Utility window, click on Startup Tab.

4. There you can see so many programs which are running in enabled or disabled mode.

5. Now Disable or Turn off your anti virus and Firewall. After that disable all the programs by clicking on the Disable All button in Startup Tab.

6.  Now again check in Startup Tab, if you see any program which is enabled automatically then that program is Keylogger which is running in your System.

7. You can see the name and location of the Keylogger Progam, delete the program from that location.

8. Now enable Anti Virus Program and Firewall, after that Enable all the programs in the Startup Tab.

9. Restart or Reboot your system, from now there is no keylogger in your laptop or computer.

Note: Please perform this steps carefully because some times your computer or laptop may become unresponsive. Try at your own risk or you can use special software that is used to find out Keylogger in your system...

You will see alert on Desktop when ever you get any new mail or any new chat on your G mail. These alerts only available if you use Google Chrome as a default browser on your system. How to reduce Google Chrome Memory Usage

Google Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers available today. Google Chrome is fastest browser compared to other browsers. The disadvantage of Google Chrome it takes more RAM usage compared to other browsers. For example if you have very low RAM then you cannot open so many tabs in Google Chrome, because when ever you open a new tab it takes more memory. Some times it consume so much RAM so that your system or PC may struck or restarts. For example if you open 7 tabs in Google chrome then you can see minimum 8 processes are running in the task manager with the name of chrome.exe ( 7 processes for Tab and 1 Process for Google Chrome Browser). You can reduce the memory usage by extension named "ToomanyTabs"



Steps to reduce Google Chrome Memory Usage


1.  Download and install "ToomanyTabs" in your Google Chrome Browser by clicking on this link.

2. once you installed the extension in your browser, you can see an icon at top right of your browser displaying number of open tabs.

3. Now click on this icon there you will get all the opened tabs in your browser, you need to click on yellow arrow mark to send the tab into TooManyTabs or you can also do this operation by right clicking on any webpage and click on "Send Tab to TooManyTabs" to send. This operation will reduce all the memory usage of RAM.

4. Now to get tabs in the TooManyTabs, click on the TooManyTabs icon in your browser. Just click on the tab which is in yellow color to restore.

How to play any video while downloading the video

For example if you are downloading the very huge video file and there is no preview available in the website and you also want to know the audio and video quality of video file. This can be done  with the help of Internet Download Manager, you can watch or play any video while downloading the video. It is very useful for those who are downloading very huge video file which is having bad audio and video quality.


How to play any video while downloading the video


1. Download and Install the Internet Download Manager if you don't have in your system..

2. Now download any video file with the help of Internet Download Manager.

3. Open IDM(Internet Download Manager) from the task bar or from start menu.

4. Now go to Options> Save to in the Internet Download Manager.


5. Now copy the path which is located in Temporary Directory and paste into Run Menu.



6. It will open IDM temporary folder, In that double click on DwnlData folder then open  your system username folder.


7. There you can see so many folders, Find out the your downloading folder by right click in the folder > Arrange Icons By > Modified.

8. Play the video with the help of VLC Media Player.
