Steps to Perform Compression using Winrar
1. Select any folder that you want to compress into small size.... You can download the software from this link
2. Right click on the selected folder or file and select "Add to Archive" option...
3. A popup window opens with so many options. you can use default name which is given by winrar or you can rename it in" Archive Name" .
4. You need to select the "Archive Format" it can be either " RAR" or "ZIP"....
5. Now you need to select the Compression Method, There are six compression methods available . Select "Best" Compression Method that gives much more compression than the others,But it is slower...
6. In archiving options put tick on "Create Solid Archive" and "Lock Archive"....
7. The last option is " Split to volume, bytes ", Select "Autodetect" from the given options .
8. Now click on "OK" button... Your File or Folder is compressed..........
