How to make TV as a Computer Monitor
This tutorial is going to useful for those who are having the problems with the monitor of the computer and cannot wait until to buy a new computer monitor.If you have 36 inch HD LCD TV you can watch movies instead of in the laptop or computer because of high picture and sound clarity. If you don't have DVD player for your HDTV then you can make the computer as a DVD player.

Steps to make TV as a Computer Monitor
1. Determine or Find out the appropriate video cable for connecting TV to Computer. There are basically four types of video cables available.
i. S-Video: If you are using very old TV then S-Video is only one option to choose. Buy The S-Video Connector, Each and Every computer consisting of S-Video ports...
ii. VGA connection: The next type of the connection is VGA one, It gives better performance compared to S-VIDEO. Make sure that your TV supports VGA connection.If your TV doesnot support VGA connection then you need to buy a converter that converts your S-VIDEO to VGA..
iii. HDMI
The newer televisions support HDMI ports, If your TV and Computer consisting of HDMI ports then buy HDMI connector. HDMI provides the best video quality and also supports HD Video..
iv: DVI
Now a days Laptops are coming with DVI ports, which is similar to HDMI ports gives the better picture clarity...
2. After determining the proper video cable shut down the computer and television if you are using them.
3. Place the computer in the position so that it can easily connected by video cable. Remove the Computer Monitor from the System by unplugging the monitor cable.
4. Now connect your Television to Laptop or Desktop PC with the help of video cable...
5. Now turn on the Computer and TV, Now change your TV Video settings from Video1 to Video2 ( IN my Television TV to AV).You need to adjust the resolution settings(If the picture clarity is not good).
6. If you are seeing windows on your TV then the connection is ok, From now you can make your TV as computer monitor and can work on computer...
