Steps to recharge your mobile with SBI SMS Banking
1. First of all you need to register your mobile with SBI SMS Banking Service by sending sms from your mobile to get USER ID and Password(MPIN).
Send SMS as MBSREG to 9223440000
2. SBI made mandatory to change the password which is received on your mobile... Once you send SMS to 9223440000, you will get a message that "Your MPIN is changed"...
Send SMS as Smpin UserId Old Mpin New Mpin to 9223440000
3. Now you need to register your mobile at ATM or Branch. Before registering your mobile at ATM you need to change the MPIN ...
4. GO to ATM and Swipe your Debit/ATM card and select the following......
"Mobile Registration > Enter your ATM pin >Mobile Banking Registration > Enter your Mobile Phone No.( It is recommended to enter the mobile number that is linked with ATM card)> Choose Yes> Then your mobile number which is entered will be displayed on the screen> Select Confirm"
5. After completion of the registration, You will get a message or SMS on your mobile phone as "Completed registration Successfully". If you don't have an ATM card then register your mobile phone at branch..
6. Now last step is to send the SMS for the Acceptance of Terms and conditions of the SMS banking Service.
Send SMS as Saccept UserId Mpin ( In the userid place enter the User ID no and In the place of MPIN enter your MPIN) to 9223440000
6. From now you can avail all the features of SBI SMS banking. This service has limit of 1,000 transaction per customer and monthly limit of 5,000 per customer. If any customer doesnot want this limitations you need to call to toll free number 18004253800 to remove . SBI SMS Banking service is free of cost...
7. In order to recharge your mobile send the SMS to 9223440000 as
Stopup UserId Mpin Service provider name of the mobile number Mobile number Amount
